On The Road Again
The TSASRDC would like to encourage all dancers to be "on the road again" visiting square and round dance clubs throughout the state.

Where can I dance tonight?  In town or out of town, this handy dance locator brochure can help you find the answer to that all important question.  Its full of contact names and numbers for all areas of the state.  Normally these brochures are found at Tennessee welcome stations and rest stops or square dance clubs and buildings throughout the state.  However, you can click here and get your own copy right now in a handy .pdf format.  Print it off and store it in your car, truck, or rv--just in case.  Whether you're in Martin,

We have three different programs designed to encourage visitation to our member clubs.  The first of the three is the dance locator brochure.  Serving a similar purpose, but on a bigger scale is our State Directory.  Last is the Tennessee Traveler program.  Read about them  here.

Lewisburg, or Piney Flats, there's a contact person that can help you--if they're not gone dancing when you call!

If you want to know everything about everything all at once, we've got just the ticket.  Our annual directory contains a list of every member club with dance location, time, contact person, club type, and staff people.  Even more than that, it contains information about the state association, local publications, member local associations, and callers, cuers, and line dance leaders of our member clubs.

Another way we encourage visitation is through the Tennessee Traveler program.  Anyone can participate in the Tennessee Traveler program and earn a Tennessee Traveler or Super Tennessee Traveler badge and/or dangle each year.  All you need to know and all you need to have is included on this Tennessee Traveler card that you can download.  (The card is in PDF format.  You must have an Adobe Acrobat reader to read it.  If you don't have the free reader, click here to go to the Adobe site to download it.)

TENNESSEE  TRAVELER

To earn a Tennessee Traveler badge/dangle, earn 5 of possible 9 points by visiting clubs in different areas and/or the State Convention within one year—June 1 to May 31.  The State Convention will count as two points.  To earn a Super Tennessee Traveler Dangle, simply earn 7 of the possible 10 points.

Have your card signed and dated by a Club President or other Club Officer in the Area visited.

When you have earned the necessary points and the card is properly signed, present the completed card to your Club President.  He or she will make arrangements for you to receive your badge/dangle.

You may earn only one dangle per person per year.

All dancers who have earned their Tennessee Traveler badge and/or Dangle, or Super Tennessee Traveler dangle will be listed in the State Directory each year.

All dancers who have earned 10 dangles will receive a 10 year bar.

See the Area pages of the Tennessee dancing section of this website or your Tennessee State Association directory for a breakdown of areas within the State and a listing of the clubs in each area.
